...angekommen in stockholm/sweden am di. 9.1. abends, zuerst mal ganz sch�n deprimierend, das ganze - zimmer komplett kahl, kein mensch in sicht, muede, uebernachtig, hunger und finster. nach orndlichem frass und 8 stunden schlaf auf so gut wie nicht als solche erkennbarer matratze (siehe foto) fuehlt man sich wieder einigermassen menschlich. am mi zuerst zum g�rden�s (das ist der koordinator), der scheisst sich ziemlich gar nix, irgendwie gelingts aber trotzdem, die notwendigen formalit�ten zu erledigen (computerzugang - das allerwichtigste, anmeldung zum sprachkurs ist irgendwie verschlampt worden, wer da jetzt dran schuld ist, g�rden�s oder ich, ist jetzt nicht mehr festzustellen, ausserdem wurscht); dann zum ikea mit b�rni, ikea spottbillig in sweden (nona), deshalb so gut wie leergekauft - zimmer schaut gleich viel bewohnbarer aus...
...mi abend tauchen dann auch die andern zwei auf, kai und alex (siehe fotos), auch mit auto, die haben sich aber mehr zeit gelassen beim rauffahren zwischenstopps in hamburg, lund, etc...
...jedenfalls, do nochmal das gleiche programm wie di, mit den neulingen (informationsvorsprung nach einem tag schon ganz gewaltig...), nur dass der g�rden�s jetzt ueberhaupt verschollen ist; sprachkurs schaut aber wieder rosiger aus, die andern zwei n�mlich auch nicht angemeldet (und bei genug nachmeldungen vielleicht noch eine gruppe)...
...also, am fr haupts�chlich computerraum, faszination natuerlich gross, 1.homepage, 2.computerausstattung geraduzu unvorstellbar fuer �. verh�ltnisse; abends aber festl auf architekturabteilung, zuerst entsetzen: vielleicht 50 leute stehn fad herum; pl�tzlich aber, 12 wirds, auf einmal knallvoll, alles walzer (oder so �hnlich) und geht voll die post ab (siehe fotos) jednfalls, musste natuerlich auch snus probieren, w�r echt zum dran gw�hnen, das zeug (wenns nicht so grauslich w�r...die wirkung jedenfalls grandios)...
...lang schlafen, eh klar, unterwegs ein bissl stadt anschauen, h&m (nona, auch spottbillig; das ist aber auch schon alles, was billig ist..) usw. (sh fotos); dann natuerlich wiedermal computerraum, bleiben voll picken, kai muss dann beim festl an der garderobe die lange unterflitze abgeben (bh-standardmodell) sonst hitzschlag. festl ganz ok aber gestern besser, kai leider total stoned, wirft um 1 das handtuch...
...lang schlafen, eh klar, dann wolltma eigentlich squash-spielen (alex und ich), squashcenter #1 leider l�ngst vergangenheit, #2 h�tte man reservieren muessen, ergo: computerraum, alex und ich t�ten schon wieder picken bleiben, aber: essen um 7 bei kai, muessen wir leider heim.
...mo leider nicht lang schlafen, um 10 vorlesung turbulence (komme drauf, hpts postgraduate studenten, prof f�hrt voll weg mit grenzschichttheorie - wird nur dem gunter was sagen..), mittagessen grauslich, fuehlt man sich wie daheim auf der tu, dann wieder vorlesung, ich der einzige, der nicht schwedisch spricht, vorlesung deshalb auf englisch (so macht man sich beliebt), prof aber nicht da, also wird nur programm und literaturliste ausgeteilt: und siehe da, alles auf schwedisch, na bravo...

...mi volles programm dafuer: schwedische vorlesung gleich wieder verlassen...computerraum um andere courses zu checken, muss mir ein bisschen was in reserve halten, man will ja schliesslich nicht die erasmus-kohle zurueckzahlen...mittagessen, b�rnis homepage machen, spaziergang mit kai in s�dermalm, volleyballspielen (heute muskelkater wie noch nie), dann festl (angeblich privatparty, wir werden aber irgendwie doch reingelassen, treffen dort holl�nder, die auch grade gekommen sind, ubahn knapp vers�umt, dafuer netter kleiner (gute stunde) nachtspaziergang rund um irgendeinen see (da gibts ja etliche..)...
...do vorlesung turbulence, das ganze wird sch�n langsam ziemlich heftig, eins zeigt sich jedenfalls deutlich: das �sterr. unisystem hat dagegen keine chance - hier oben weht ein anderer wind (in jeder hinsicht)...

...fr flugzeugbauvorlesung, wird wegen uns (=francisco aus chile, 3 franzosen und ich) auf englisch gehalten, ist recht interessant; abends im heaven lassen die tuersteher kai und alex aus irgendeinem grund nicht rein (ausreden fallen ihnen immer genug ein), also nur b�rni und ich...
...sa dafuer sehr witzig im snaps, auch 1/2 stunde anstellen, das is es aber wert...
...so kino...
...mi wieder volleyball, nachher chinese new year (sehe keinen einzigen chinesen, aber wurscht) in der gula villa am uni-campus, sehr lustig dort (sh fotos, die jetzt wirklich bald kommen), diesmal nicht zu fuss nach haus, jetzt wissen wir schon, wo und wann der nachtbus f�hrt...
...fr innebandy spielen mit 1 schweden, 1 ami, 2 deutschen, 3 holl�ndern - sehr anstrengend, sehr witziges spiel (fuer diejenigen, dies nicht wissen, das ist eishockey ohne eis und ohne eislaufschuhe in einer halle), abends korridorparty bei alex...
...sa herumgelegen, abends bei uns in der kueche mehrere videofilme angeschaut...

...hab irgendwie den anschluss verloren, ist ja doch schon einige zeit her, dass ich das letzte mal zeit (und lust) gehabt hab, was neues zu schreiben...
...also ich hab keine ahnung mehr, was ich in den letzten paar wochen wann gemacht hab, sicher bin ich nur:
...diverse stadtbesichtigungstouren, unter anderem auch uppsala, das ist ca eine 3/4 stunde mit dem zug nach norden, am flughafen vorbei, auf den grossen fernsehturm in �stermalm, liegt schon mitten im gruenen, angeblich das h�chste bauwerk in skandinavien, usw.usw...
...ansonsten viel arbeit auf der uni, jetzt wirds aber schon wieder leichter (diese woche war laborpr�sentation unseres ersten eigenen finite elemente programms, gut gelaufen, turbulence und flygteknik hab ich auch fuer den augenblick zur seite geschafft, d. h. bis 12. m�rz, da hab ich turbulence-pruefung, ist eigentlich gar nicht mehr allzuviel zu tun. am do n�chste woche f�ngt die erste examination-period an, ich hab aber keine pruefung, d. h. de facto ferien. momentan sieht der plan einen kleinen ausflug nach kiruna zum nordlicht vor, zeit ist an sich genug...
...das innebandyspielen expandiert immer mehr, letztes mal waren wir 18 leute, jetzt werden wirs wahrscheinlich auf 2 partien aufteilen muessen, letzten freitag jedenfalls nach dem spielen wollten wir auf ein bier in die gula villa, frage nicht, niemals versuche mit einem ernsthaft trinkenden schweden schrittzuhalten, jedenfalls nach ein paar tequilas auch noch ists dann doch 1/2 4 geworden...
...tja, letzte woche war ueberhaupt etwas kr�ftig, viel uni, viel ausfluege und fortgehen von mi. bis so, diese woche sind wir (insbesondere francisco und ich) leicht zerst�rt, deshalb gestern nur siedler von catan gespielt bis 1 oder so, ist ganz lustig, wenn man alles uebersetzen muss...
...ausserdem wollen wir ende m�rz oder anfang april nach narvik (in norwegen, wo die schipisten bis ans meer runtergehen) snowboarden fahren, fuer diesen plan haben sich auch schon etliche interessenten gefunden...
...ganz vergessen zu erw�hnen hab ich die 40 personen schneeballschlacht in lappis, wie fuenfj�hrige kinder haben wir uns im schnee gew�lzt, die fotos sind nur leider nix geworden...

...due to complaints by several non-german-speaking people (actually only one: francisco from chile) i will continue the 'diary' in english...
...friday after playing innebandy once again 'one' beer at gula villa - always very dangerous...afterwards we had to go to allhus, there was another party, but i don't remember too much-somehow i had to drink a lot with maarten, when i got home, there was two others from my corridor just arriving from different activities - so we emptied my last bottle of good red wine, ate ekstr�ms jordgubbskr�m (smacker gott med mj�lk - which is 100% true!) and watched strange things on tv. (went to bed at 6 or something, after making pasta)...
...next day getting up was kind of tough, but if you have an appointment (and the other guy has no phone) you have no choice. so i met francisco at 11 at tunnelbana-station universitetet...who did not show up, was maarten...so we went to wake him up. he looked even worse than i felt - and that means a lot! anyway, at least we could borrow his skates, which was very importent, after it turned out, that you can't rent them at frescati-hallen...
...so we were ice-skating, two persons with one pair of skates, but nevermind, it was a very beautiful day, lots of people on the brunnsviken, skating with their kiddy-carts, dogs, even with cross-country skis (fotos coming soon)...
...monday after language course we went to the cinema (br�d och rosor - title in swedish, movie supposed to be english, but was mostly in spanish), the screen (or whatever the rectangular thing at the front end of a cinema is called) was smaller as the tv in kungshamra 31, 3rd floor. never seen such a strange 'bio' (as it is called in swedish)...
...on wednesday i was unfortunately forced to skip the innebandy, because i was a little bit sick (the flu...) which hit me very hard, because i bought my own innebandy-stick on saturday...
...on thursday 6 o'clock i got up to catch the plane to kiruna, we met at 8-something at the airport, was no problem at all to get a standby-ticket, which is really ridiculously cheap for inland-flights (approx. 400 �sen)...
...kiruna: -28 degrees, snow from november to june, icehotel (i didn't believe it myself, until i saw it, wait for pictures to come), mine of kiruna, with 'magic mushrooms' - shii take; we took a car from another group, who had to leave on saturday but rent the car until monday...don't ask, the car had to endure a lot of torture (imagine: frontwheel drive, handbrake, snowy streets, enough space,.....). i just came back from kiruna today, we had to take the train, which needs 16(!) hours to stockholm (gives a feeling, how b i g this country is), the whole thing reminded me very strongly on the old interrail-times...
...from tomorrow i'm supposed to learn for an examination next monday, and there is also a homework in flygteknik left, but on saturday there are the ski-world-cup-finals in �re, and i would really like to go there (could be difficult to motivate people from the netherlands or from chile, perhaps it's interesting for the swiss, at least?). the next project is a snowboarding trip to narvik/norway in the first week of april, the cabins are already booked, hopefully i will get my equipment from austria until then...

...i haven't been to �re and i also didn't really learn for the examination (but as it turned out on monday, it wasn't necessary, was quite easy)...
...last sunday i was on a trip to the sk�rg�rden (the archipelago east of stockholm) with some dutch people. we just picked an island from the map, stepped on the boat, and told the guy, who was selling the tickets, we want to go to g�lln�. he didn't say anything...but it turned out, that on this island there live about 30 people, there is no caf� or shop, (a youth-hostel, though, but this was closed: only open in summer). so there was basically nothing to do there, except for walking around (it's very beautiful there), but we had to spend 6 hours there, until the next boat would come and pick us up! so after some hours it became quite boring and cold... fortunately, there was a hut at the beach, which wasn't locked, and it had a fireplace inside. the girls managed to get some dry wood from an old man living there, and so we had a nice fire. after the wood was finished, however, we had to use telephone-books... everybody was smelling like smoked, because the chimney didn't work, as it was supposed to, so the smoke remained mainly inside the building.... but after all, we were having a good time! back on the boat (hungry like wolves) we spent really a lot of money on sandwiches and chocolate.... i was sleeping nearly the whole trip back to stockholm...
...this week was so far not very enjoyable, lot of things to fix, before going to narvik next weekend, this weekend we're going to kopenhagen (but i'm not sure, if this is really a good plan for me, because i had a lot of stress during the last two weeks).
...finally, i managed to find someone (nico, a french guy, he has around 20 bicycles), who could sell me a bike - however, rather difficult thing, because of some misunderstandings (around half past eight=ten; my fault; next day 8.30=20.30(?); his fault,...), but hopefully, i will get it today...

...changed my mind, i'm not going to kopenhagen now, rather decided to have a relaxed weekend, for next week will not be much better than this one. today, i had the oral examination in 'turbulence', giovanni and i had the feeling, we weren't really well prepared for the exam, but the teacher was delighted and gave us the highest grade - probably the so-called erasmus-bonus...

...just came back from our skiing-snowboarding trip to narvik; first we were 10 people in a 6 person cabin (pretty crowded), then roland went home, so we were nine, then mills, kai, alex, cedra, sascha went, maarten, joel, francisco and me took the boat to the lofoten islands. the day after we came back the skilift wouldn't work (supposedly computer-problems; but i don't have a clue what kind of computer-p. a simple skilift could possibly have...), the next day the lifts worked again; but maarten and francisco had already decided to go home, so it was only joel and me left...
...on the first day we were lucky to see the northern lights, it was a very cold clear night; and the lights are really so beautiful as they're said to be...
...on the second evening we went swimming in the fjord (at -5�, was very freezy), would have been better with a sauna afterwards (or before)...
...the "snowboards" they had for rent were a little bit disappointing - 155cm children's freestyleboards are really not what i wanted. so i went skiing for the first time in 5 years, and unexpected: it was great fun!...
...the trip home was quite funny: first we took the train from narvik to kiruna (ca 3 hours), then we took a taxi from kiruna station to kiruna airport, then we took a plane (a so called banana-bomber) to lule�; another plane from lule� to arlanda-airport, (the landing was funny, it was a bit windy, and there were people really white in the face, clamping their seats, prepared for the worst...) finally we took the bus from arlanda to stockholm's central station...
...today i discovered unfortunately, that i'm pretty out of money, i'm not sure if i can afford making another trip...didn't get my erasmus-money this month...
...it will take some time to come up with new pictures, i have technical problems...

...after coming home from norway, i had to go out a lot; in fact 9 days in a row until later than 5 in the morning, can't sleep anymore at night-not used to it...
...this week i was in the museum of modern art-beside really nice things (dali, schiele, warhol, lichtenstein, vasarely) they had a edvard munch exhibition; but some of the exposed things i can only describe as a big pile of rubbish (sperrm�ll)...
...yesterday we were at a hockeygame: sweden-finland, sweden won 3:1, i have to admit, that my sympathies were rather on the suomi-side, because they played well but missed the goal too often (something which is very familiar to me from playing innebandy, at least the missing-the-goal)...
...still technical problems with the pictures, but i hope to come up with them soon...
...next week the fun is over! i will have to start working again :-((( i could really get used to holidays...
